PURPOSE: A Probe set for diagnosing or detecting Squash mosaic virus is provided to increase production amount by minimizing influence on crops by viruses. CONSTITUTION: A Probe set for diagnosing or detecting SqMV(Squash mosaic virus) comprises one or more oligonucleotids selected from oligonucleotid with a sequence number 894-909 or complementary oligonucleotid thereof. A method for diagnosing or detecting the SqMV comprises a step of separating RNA from a specimen; a step of synthesizing cDNA from the RNA; a step of contacting the cDNA to the probe set to mixe the cDNA and probe set; and a step of detecting hybridization degree between the cDNA and probe set. An SqMV diagnosing or detecting kit comprises the oligonucleotid probe set and hybridization solution.
