<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication apparatus for a four-stroke engine loaded on a portable working machine, forming no oil sump by suppressing waving of oil in an oil tank, even when the attitude of a working machine body changes. <P>SOLUTION: A lubrication apparatus for a four-stroke engine includes opening of a supply passageway positioned above an oil level even when an oil tank is tilted in any direction, and a partition partitioning an area inside the oil tank.
