<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse input cutoff clutch that reduces torque loss during rotation while preventing occurrence of a phenomenon of alternately repeating a locked state and an unlocked state. <P>SOLUTION: A reverse input cutoff clutch 101 is configured such that a fitting shaft 151 of an input shaft 11 is fitted into a fitting hole 251 of an inner ring 22 of an output shaft. When the input shaft 11 is rotated from a neutral position, a column 13 pushes out a roller 41 from a wedge and unlocks a locked state of the output shaft. Then, when rotated by an angle β, a planar outer wall 17 of the fitting shaft 151 is brought into abutment with a planar inner wall 27 of the fitting hole 251 and it allows transmission of torque of the input shaft 11 to the inner ring 22 of the output shaft. On that occasion, a ball 51 biased by a spring 52 is engaged with a recess of a detent 610 and it allows to maintain a relative angle of the input shaft 11 with respect to the output shaft. As a result, it prevents the occurrence of a phenomenon of alternately repeating a locked state and an unlocked state. Further, it is configured to prevent the occurrence of a rotational resistance between the input shaft 11 and the output shaft during the rotation from the neutral position to the angle β, thereby reducing torque loss in rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
