<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic retrofit method for being applied to reinforced concrete members such as pillars and beams in situ while securing enough tensile strength. <P>SOLUTION: The seismic retrofit method for seismically reinforcing an RC pillar 1 includes, first of all, cutting a concrete cover 2 of the RC pillar 1, building a form 3 so as to be the same as the original cross section, and then filling it with fresh mortar separately made. Such fresh mortar is configured to include cement, silica fume, water, a water reducing agent, fine aggregate and high tension fiber so as to become normal temperature curable ultra high strength fiber-reinforced mortar. Additionally, the cement is configured to include 40.0-75.0 mass% of C<SB POS="POST">3</SB>S, <2.7 mass% of C<SB POS="POST">3</SB>A and the 45 μm sieve balance being <8.0 mass%. The fine aggregate comprises 15-85 mass% of size fractions of a particle diameter of ≤0.15 mm and 3-20 mass% of size fractions of a particle diameter of ≤0.075 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
