PURPOSE: A device and method for controlling a DC(Direct Current)-DC converter in an eco-friendly vehicle are provided to actively control the output voltage of the converter according to the driving condition of a motor and an inverter and according to the voltage variation of a battery, thereby improving the efficiency of a system and fuel efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling a DC(Direct Current)-DC converter in an eco-friendly vehicle includes a battery(106), a first motor(101), a second motor(102), a first inverter(103), a second inverter(104), the DC-DC converter(105), and a controller(200). A direct voltage is stored in the battery. The first and the second motor are driven as electric motors or generators. The first and the second inverter drive the first and the second motor. The DC-DC converter raises the direct voltage from the battery, and then supplies the raised direct voltage to the first and the second inverter. The DC-DC converter raises the direct voltage from the first and the second inverter, and then supplies the raised direct voltage to the battery. The controller applies a torque command to a current reference map in order to generate a voltage reference, switches the DC-DC converter with a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation), and then controls an output voltage supplied to the first and the second inverter.
