摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material cutting method which has a high cutting speed without the transforming and deformation of the cut part of a sheet material as the object to be cut and without the dropout of the components contained in the sheet material. <P>SOLUTION: A spot type carbon dioxide laser cutting apparatus LA includes: a substrate 10 for carrying a sheet material 20; a beam bender 11 having a built-in mirror folding a laser beam LB discharged from a carbon dioxide laser oscillation unit to a vertical direction; an X-Y table 14 for moving the beam bender 11 in a horizontal direction; a lens 12 for converging the laser beam LB on the sheet material 20; and an air supply passage 13 for blowing a nitrogen gas N<SB POS="POST">2</SB>toward the irradiation region of the laser beam LB. A slit 15 is made in the substrate 10, and, when the beam bender 11 is moved in the longitudinal direction of the slit 15 by operating the X-Y table 14, the laser beam LB relatively performs scanning along the slit 15, and the cutting of the sheet material 20 is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
