<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deep groove ball bearing capable of enhancing the discharging property of invading foreign matters, and preventing any damage of a rolling surface caused by the bite of foreign matters. <P>SOLUTION: A ball 31 is assembled between a raceway groove 12 of an outer ring 11 and a raceway groove 22 of an inner ring 21, and the ball 31 is retained by a retainer 40. The height of a shoulder 13a on one side of the outer ring 11, and the height of a shoulder 23b on the other side of the inner ring 21 out of the total four shoulders 13a, 13b, 23a, 23b formed on both sides of the outer ring raceway groove 12 and the inner ring raceway groove 22, respectively, are set to be larger than the height of the other shoulders 13b, 23a. The thrust force is supported by the shoulders 13a, 23b of the larger height, and thereby preventing the ball 31 from raising onto the shoulders 13a, 23b. The retainer 40 is formed with a first divided retainer 41 and a second divided retainer 42 to be fitted to the inner and outer sides. Radial grooves 53 are formed in inner circumferential surfaces of pockets 45, 50 formed on the first divided retainer 41 and the second divided retainer 42. The discharging property of invading foreign matters inside the bearing is enhanced by allowing lubricating oil on the inside diameter side of the retainer 40 to flow on the outside diameter side of the retainer from the radial grooves 53 and to be discharged outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
