<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing increase of peak electric power due to water spraying while improving efficiency of a refrigeration cycle. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 includes an outdoor heat exchanger 13 disposed in a refrigerant circuit 5, a spraying mechanism 20 having a two-fluid nozzle 21 for spraying water to air directing to the outdoor heat exchanger 13, and an air compressor 17 for creating the compressed air distributed to the two-fluid nozzle 21, and a spraying mechanism control section 4a for controlling the spraying mechanism 20.
