<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in performance of image formation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes: determination means for determining a start edge or an end edge, on the basis of an edge direction of an edge read from intermediate data, where the start edge and the end edge showing the shape of an object do not cross each other and the edge directions of the start edge and end edge point the same direction; start coordinate deciding means that decides an X-coordinate of the edge to be decided for each scan line as a minimum value in the corresponding scan line when the determination means determines the start edge; and an end coordinate deciding means that decides the X-coordinate of the edge to be decided for each scan line as a maximum value in the corresponding scan line when the determination means determines the end edge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
