<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of suppressing the deterioration in steering feeling of a driver by appropriately arranging an elastic body which supports a cylindrical body rotating concentrically with a rack shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering device includes: the annular resinous elastic body 52 which is arranged between an inner circumferential surface of a housing 18 and an outer ring 42 of a bearing for supporting cylindrical bodies 24, 31 rotating concentrically with the rack shaft and supports the cylindrical bodies 24, 31 movably in the shaft direction with respect to the housing 18; and a retention body 51 which regulates the movement of the elastic body 52 in the shaft direction up to a prescribed range and has, on its face on the inner side in the radial direction of the elastic body 52, an engagement part to be engaged with the elastic body 52 such that the elastic body 52 is not removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
