<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably manufacturing a highly accurate roller, the method suppressing the occurrence of a weld in the roller and reducing unevenness in the hardness and the resistance of the roller, when manufacturing the elastic roller by an extrusion molding method using a crosshead. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the elastic roller includes a process for forming a cylindrical coating layer on an outer periphery of a core metal passing through a crosshead by extrusion molding a material for forming an elastic layer on the outer periphery of the core metal, wherein the die has at least one discharging hole penetrating from the inner peripheral surface of the die to the outer surface of the crosshead, and the extrusion molding is performed while discharging a weld occurring in the crosshead from the discharging hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
