<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat source conversion solution device and method for selecting combinations conformed to a business establishment form out of combinations of a large number of electric furnaces and the number of units, and presenting a combination advantageous to a customer out of the selected combinations. <P>SOLUTION: A facility plan of a customer who plans heat source conversion, general conditions such as a name and an address, and operation conditions such as the number of operation days per month and operating hours on the operating day are input as input data 1 to a solution device body 10, and by-volume data of electric furnaces (e.g., induction furnaces) are input as facility data 2 thereto. The solution device body (tool) 10 carries out processing such as furnace selection, molten metal cycle calculation, energy cost calculation, CO2 discharge amount calculation and document generation based on the respective input data 1, 2, and outputs recommended facilities (capacity, electric power, the number of units), a molten metal discharge cycle, energy cost comparison, CO2 discharge amount comparison, facility layout, an approximate price, etc., to the customer who plans heat source conversion as output data 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
