<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink capable of sufficiently radiating heat of a heating element. <P>SOLUTION: A heat sink 1 has: a base plate 5; two side walls 4 parallel to a flowing direction of a cooling fluid F; plural first pin fins 2 standing on the base plate 5 and formed into a square cross sectional shape; and plural second pin fins 3 standing on the base plate 5 and formed into a triangle or pentagon cross sectional shape. The first pin fins 2 and the second pin fins 3 are arranged between the side walls 4. The first pin fins 2 are arranged in a zig-zag manner so that a corner a is positioned on an upstream side, and the second pin fins 3 are arranged adjacent to the side walls 4 and formed so that a cross sectional area is smaller than that of the first pin fins 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
