<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of accurately notifying a driver of the presence of a vehicle approaching from a rear side, and that the vehicle is approaching from which side of the right and left rear sides of the own vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A radar 12 for a rear side determines that a vehicle is approaching, when an interval of the own vehicle and the approaching vehicle in the rear side of the own vehicle is a predetermined threshold or less, and from which side, right or left rear side of the own vehicle the vehicle is approaching, and determination information for showing a determination result is provided for a side rear side notification ECU 34. A window driving device 28 opens/closes a left window 30 or a right window 32 on the basis of an instruction from a body system ECU 36. The rear side notification ECU 34 and the body system ECU 36 function as control means which changes a window state of an approaching side of the approaching vehicle of windows of the own vehicle, on the basis of the determination result of a direction determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
