<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optocoupler with a light guide having a consistent shape where a shape of a light guide between an optical transmitter die and an optical receiver die is controlled. <P>SOLUTION: An optocoupler 100 has an optical transmitter die 120, an optical receiver die 130, a light guide 140, a limiting element 150, and a body 170. The light guide 140 is confined to an upper portion 171 of the body 170 by using the limiting element 150.
