<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cleaning by a suction hose and a suction tube in a stable state, in an upright vacuum cleaner including the suction hose and the suction tube besides a suction port body. <P>SOLUTION: The upright vacuum cleaner 1 includes: the suction port body 2, and a cleaner body 3 connected to the suction port body 2. The cleaner body 3 is disposed with a dust collection portion 9 and an electric fan 10. The dust collection portion 9 communicates with the suction port body 2 via a first air suction path 30 formed between the suction port body 2 and the cleaner body 3. The cleaner body 3, in the upper part thereof, is disposed with the suction hose 47 including the suction tube 49 at the front end. The suction hose 47 communicates with the dust collection portion via a second air suction path 55.
