<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that, because gamma correction is incorporated to a dither threshold in an image formation device without a gamma correction circuit, an output density cannot be corrected in the case that engine characteristics are changed or depending on an individual difference of the engine characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A density correction chart stored in a main body memory and on which a preliminarily-defined patch is printed, is output by an image output part, and read out by the image reading part. A dot lighting number in a dither threshold matrix is adjusted so that the readout density value is matched to a target density value at designing, and the dither threshold matrix is re-produced according to the adjustment results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
