PURPOSE: A reagent for detecting semen and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to change semen-stained site into pink color by spraying a composition for detecting semen, and to cheaply and simply detect semen. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a reagent for detecting semen comprises: a step of preparing 1L of diluted solution containing 70-85 wt% of distilled water(H2O) and 15-30 wt% of 80-95% ethanol(C2H5OH)(S1); a step of adding 0.05-0.15g of phenol red powder(C19H1405S)(S2); a step of mixing for 30 seconds or more(S3); a step of precipitating for 30-60 minutes(S4); and a step of extracting phenol red power-mixed diluted solution(S5).
