PURPOSE: A road guidance displaying method and system using images connected to geographic information are provided to service road guidance with a sense of realism based on a real road condition. CONSTITUTION: A road guidance displaying method comprises a user input unit(10), a position information receiving unit(20), a camera(30), a distance information storing unit(60), a guidance message output unit(70), and a control unit(50). A control command by a user is input through the user input unit. The position information receiving unit receives position information transmitted wirelessly. The camera photographs images of a specific place according to predetermined control signals and provides the corresponding image information. The distance information storing unit stores the image information photographed by the camera with the position information of the specific place where the images are photographed. The guidance message output unit provides road guidance to a driver through images or sound messages according to the predetermined control signals.
