<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material testing machine capable of reducing power consumption by removing useless operation of an operating hydraulic power source to be an operation power source of a hydraulic driving member. <P>SOLUTION: When a switch for starting the operating hydraulic power source of an operation part is turned on, a motor M2 of the operating hydraulic power source is turned on (step S1) and counting of a timer is reset (step S2). When both switches for opening/closing upper and lower grippers are not operated and all control relays of a solenoid control circuit for exciting solenoids of electromagnetic valves arranged in respective oil pipelines between the operating hydraulic power source and the upper and lower grippers are off (step S3), the timer starts counting (step S4), and after lapse of predetermined time from the start of counting (step S5), a control relay of a second motor control circuit is turned off by a control signal from an FPGA and the motor M2 of the operating hydraulic power source is stopped (step S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
