<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when an operator erroneously executes the cutting of a print sheet in a post-processing process, the reprinting of the print sheet is required, and selecting a pertinent print job from the history of print jobs printed in large quantities in the previous stage causes the large deterioration of work efficiency on reprinting. <P>SOLUTION: A reprinting control device includes in order to improve work efficiency on reprinting: identifier issuing means for issuing an identifier for uniquely identifying the reprint range of a print job on first printing; bar code embedding means for embedding the identifier in a specific portion of a printed matter as a bar code; job storage means for storing the print setting and identifier of the print job; bar code reading means for detecting the reading of the bar code on second printing; and reprinting means for, when the identifier shown by the bar code is present in a job list stored by the job storage means, performing reprinting in accordance with the reprint range and the job setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
