<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrenic resin extruded foam which has excellent dimensional stability when compressed in the thickness direction while it is buried in the ground or the like in applications, such as building construction on soft ground or embankment for widening or the like in a landslide region or on inclined ground. <P>SOLUTION: In the styrenic resin extruded foam, the amount of deformation (the amount of dimensional change) in the width direction and the extrusion direction when compression is applied in the thickness direction is significantly decreased by having an anisotropy ratio of compressive strength in the extrusion direction, the width direction, and the thickness direction in the extruded foam set to be a specific value and to have specific relation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
