摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect fault of a solar cell string consisting of a solar cell module or a plurality of solar cell modules accurately in a photovoltaic power generation device, without providing a circuit for measuring and transmitting the generated power in each solar cell module. <P>SOLUTION: A fault detector 60 disconnects each PV module 11, 12,...,1n in order by using forced bypass circuits 41, 42,...,4n provided for a plurality of PV modules 11, 12,...,1n configuring a string 30, and forms a bypass pathway by a bypass diode BD. Change patterns of output voltage and current from the string 30 being generated upon disconnection are detected for each PV module 11, 12,...,1n, and a PV module in fault state is detected by comparing the change patterns thus detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
