PURPOSE: A ball valve is provided to locally cut off by fastening a bolt in the outside of a valve body if water leakage is locally occurred not to disassemble a valve to exchange a valve sheet. CONSTITUTION: A ball valve comprises a sleeve(3), a seat housing, a packing gland(19), a connection pipe(17), an O-ring(12), a second compressing bolt(22), a first compressing bolt(23), and a decompressing bolt. The sleeve is fixed in the left and right sides of a body(1) and has a screw hole(3a) where the first compressing bolt for pressing a valve sheet(15) is assembled. The seat housing is assembled inside the sleeve and has a hole(10) in which the first compressing bolt is penetrated and the screw hole in which the decompressing bolt is assembled. The connection pipe has a flange which is fixed in a pipe flange and can move inside the seat housing. The O-ring is assembled between the connection pipe and the seat housing. The second compressing bolt is assembled in the screw hole of the seat housing in a state of being penetrated in the packing gland to press the O-ring, thereby fixing the position of the connection pipe inside the seat housing. |
