METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING AUDIO IN MOBILE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio processing method and apparatus that controls sound pressure of a recorded sound in accordance with surrounding environments to improve quality of audio.

SOLUTION: The method for processing audio in a mobile terminal includes: receiving the audio from a microphone; calculating a sound pressure level of the received audio; determining a sound pressure state of the received audio on the basis of the calculated sound pressure level; and controlling an input gain of the audio on the basis of the determination result.
