<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when a battery cell subjected to equalization discharge is determined in a region of high charging rate, a battery cell of small full charge quantity is discharged due to deterioration, and thereby the travel distance of a vehicle, while stopping an internal combustion engine 22, is shortened. <P>SOLUTION: A main microcomputer 52 evaluates variation of charging rate of battery cells C11-Cnm constituting a high voltage battery 10 only for the region of low charging rate thereof, and specifies a battery cell of high charging rate as a battery cell to be discharged when the variation is large, and then outputs a command signal Sc to a monitor unit Ui. Consequently, the monitor unit Ui turns a switching element 32, connected in parallel with a battery cell to be discharged, on thus discharging the battery cell to be discharged via a discharging resistor 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
