<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element drive device which can reduce an in-rush current even if a plurality of illumination devices are simultaneously electrified. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting element drive device comprises: a voltage detection circuit which is provided with an electrification switch in a power source input line and detects an electric voltage including a noise component of a power source when starting to electrify the power source input line; and a control circuit which operates to convert the voltage including the noise component detected by the voltage detection circuit to a digital value, to generate data having a predetermined number of bits from the converted digital value, to determine a delay time until the electrification switch is turned on, based on the generated data of the predetermined of bits, and to turn on the electrification switch after the delay time lapses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
