<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents increase in size of a motor used for conveyance of sheets. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a fixing part 60, a decurling part 100, and a control unit 90. The decurling part 100 includes a decurling nip part 100c which corrects curling generated in a sheet S by pressing the sheet S, and correcting force applied when pressing the sheet S is changed in two steps. When the decurling part 100 holds the sheet S in a weak press, the control unit 90 increases the conveyance speed of the sheet S after the rear edge of the sheet S passes through a fixing nip part 60c. When the decurling part 100 holds the sheet S in a strong press, the control unit 90 increases the conveyance speed of the sheet S after the rear edge of the sheet S passes through a fixing nip part 60c and a decurling nip part 100c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
