<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for adding a monitoring function for the inside and outside of a vehicle cabin during parking to a drive recorder capable of operating the drive recorder to photograph and record statuses of the inside and outside of a vehicle cabin when a sensor such as a microwave sensor or an ultrasonic sensor detects the access of a third party to the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A situation is determined according to the presence/absence of the energization of an ACC system, and during traveling, electric power is supplied to a drive recorder. During parking, energization to the drive recorder is cut off to keep a standby state. When human access is detected, electric power is supplied to the drive recorder to record the statuses of the inside and outside of a vehicle cabin. The power supply is controlled by a built-in timer circuit in an adapter, and after the operation is performed for a fixed period of time, the power supply is stopped to keep the standby state again. The modification of the drive recorder itself is unnecessary. By using a sensor for sensing the movement of a person and an object in a vehicle cabin, the invasion of a third person into the cabin can be left as an evidence by an image and a voice by the drive recorder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
