<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a highly credible prior performance, in a game machine that includes a start storage means of extracting determination information based on entry of a game ball into a start winning area and then storing it as a start memory of a variable display game, and induces a special game state advantageous to a player when a special result occurs by executing a variable display game based on the start memory. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: prior determination means (game control unit 100, performance control unit 300) capable of determining determination information in the start memory in advance before start of the variable display game based on the start memory; and a prior performance means (performance control unit 300) capable of executing a prior performance suggesting a determination result of the prior determination means. Also, the prior determination means includes a prior determination means for each game (performance control unit 300) of determining determination information of the start memory in advance according to a progress state of a game each time the variable display game is executed.
