<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which the (2p+1) order harmonic component of electromagnetic exciting force can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: One facing surface 36 of a tooth 33 has an arcuate shape along a virtual arc A1 around the axis P, and a concave shape 37 closer to the back yoke 30 side than the virtual arc A1 on the side opposite from the rotation direction of a rotor 1 for the arcuate shape. The deepest point 37a on the concave shape 37 farthest from the center of a stator 3 is located in a region up to (30/p) degree from the center 31a of an extension 31 in the circumferential direction on the side opposite from the rotation direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
