<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently achieve a high dynamic range depending on a photographing scene. <P>SOLUTION: A mode selection unit 24 selects any mode of a normal photographing mode, a multiple exposure mode, a multiple correlation mode, and a multiple exposure + multiple correlation mode on the basis of a saturation state of an image determined by a saturation determination unit 22 and a movement amount calculated by a movement amount calculation unit 23.
