<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: despite the ability of a receiver which can handle data having a larger size than a size of a printable recording paper, it is declared that a recordable size is a maximum recording paper size; therefore there is a possibility that a reduced image is received, which results in deterioration of image quality, and moreover even if a received image is tried to be transferred, the transferred image becomes a reduced image. <P>SOLUTION: An image communication apparatus has setup means for setting up to declare either a maximum size of a set recording paper or an image size able to be handled by the apparatus, and upon reception, a maximum recording size is declared in accordance with a setting detail in the setup means upon. When receiving an image, if an accumulation reception mode is set, the image communication apparatus declares not a printable recording paper size but the size able to be handled by the apparatus as a size of a maximum recording paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
