<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a profile easily by correcting an existing profile for a sheet on which the profile is not created. <P>SOLUTION: In a printer controller performing color conversion for the image data of an image to be printed, a media white value described in the wtpt tag of an existing profile used for color conversion during print on a production printing sheet is replaced by a colorimetric value, and the UCR/GCR level of a L*a*b*→CMYK conversion table in the existing profile is corrected, thus creating a new profile for use in color conversion during print on an alternative sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
