PURPOSE: A circuit for detecting whether or not an LED(Light Emitting Diode) array is open and an LED driving device using the same are provided to determines whether or not the LED array is open in accordance with whether a current flows in the LED array, thereby correctly detecting whether or not the LED array is open regardless of an abnormal forward voltage. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for detecting whether or not an LED array is open includes a resistance part(310), a first switching part(320), and an output part(320). The resistance is directly connected to the LED array. The first switching part is turned on when the voltage of the resistance part is over a predetermined voltage. The output part outputs whether or not the first switching part is turned on into whether or not the LED array is open.
