<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent detergent foams from entering a circulation air path by reducing pressure loss caused in the circulation air path. <P>SOLUTION: A washing and drying machine comprises: a circulation air path 11 for introducing drying air through an inlet 10 provided in a rear portion of a water tank 3; an air path shutter 18 for opening/closing the inlet; and driving means 19 for driving the air path shutter. The air path shutter 18 has a first shutter 18a, a second shutter 18b, and rotation shafts 18c and 18d respectively rotatably supporting the first shutter and the second shutter.
