<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus capable of removing organic matter, sulfur, nitrogen and phosphorus in organic waste water. <P>SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus includes an ascending flow type anaerobic reactor, a photobioreactor and an aerobic reactor. The photobioreactor houses at least one kind of photosynthetic bacterium containing a bacterium utilizing a hydrogen sulfide as a reactant to perform photosynthesis. A second injection port receiving the first treated water discharged from a first discharge port and a second discharge port for discharging second treated water formed by the contact of the first treated water with at least one kind of photosynthetic bacterium are provided to the photobioreactor. This photobioreactor further houses a light source for irradiating at least one kind of photosynthetic bacterium with light or further has a light transmission part for transmitting light so as to irradiate at least one kind of photosynthetic bacterium with light emitted from an outside light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
