<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harness that fits gently on an animal's body and which, even with slight changes in an individual's physique, can maintain a favorable fit through fine adjustments. <P>SOLUTION: The harness 1 comprises a body-wrapping element 2 for wrapping an animal's body, with an air pad 3 interposed between the outer material and the lining thereof. The air pad 3 is an airtight, flat, hollow bag, with a manually-operated air pump 4 mounted on a portion thereof. Air is injected into the air pad 3 by operating the air pump 4.
