<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processor capable of preventing a foreign matter from being taken in from an insertion port without spoiling operability when inserting a card. <P>SOLUTION: The card processor includes an insertion port guide 3 functioning as a foreign matter separation means that separates the foreign matter from the card C by preventing the movement of the foreign matter F into the insertion port 21 where the foreign matter F moves together with the card C on a back side of the card C as the card C is inserted into the insertion port 21. The insertion port guide 3 has: a guide base 31 which abuts on the back of the card C to regulate the moving direction of the card C, and guides the card C to the insertion port 21; a recess 34 which is recessed further than the guide base 31, and to which the foreign matter F is dropped from the guide base 31; and a stopper 31b which abuts on the foreign matter F dropped to the recess 34 to prevent the movement of the foreign matter F, and separates the foreign matter from the card C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
