<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the technology which derives both of the outward path side drive time and the return path side drive time of an actuator which reciprocates a moving part such as an air cylinder with one detection sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An outward path side drive time needed for an air cylinder 2 to move from a second drive end to a first drive end is measured using a detection sensor 26. Also, after the air cylinder 2 is moved from the first drive end to an intermediate position taking a first intermediate drive time TB, it is moved from the intermediate position to the first drive end, and a second intermediate drive time TC needed for this movement is measured using the detection sensor 26. In this way, the time needed for the air cylinder 2 to move between the first drive end and the intermediate position, i.e., the first intermediate drive time TB and the second intermediate drive time TC, is acquired. Then, a return path side drive time TD is calculated on the basis of (return path side drive time TD)=(outward path side drive time TA)×(first intermediate drive time TB)/(second intermediate drive time TC). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
