PURPOSE: A movement object extraction image processing method is provided to renew a background model based on the presumed image change value, thereby reducing a residue image phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: An image processing device calculates change between current image information and previous image information, and generates an inter-image comparison value(S100). The image processing device uses the image comparison value of adjacent image units, and presumes the image change value(S200). The image processing device uses the presumed image change value, and extracts the partial image information of a moving object from the current image information(S300). The image processing device reflects the current image information with the extracted partial image information of the moving object to the previously modeled background model information(S400).
