PURPOSE: A method for automatically calculating the original cost and a device thereof are provided to automatically calculate original costs by inputting the data of a necessary item to each category by programming a predetermined language. CONSTITUTION: Categories which are necessary to calculate original costs are grouped by a setting unit(110). Each category is generated for defining an estimation method in each category(112). A calculation result provides an information input page by connecting to an application program corresponding to the calculation of the original costs by identifying the input value of sub-categories.
