摘要 PURPOSE: A brake signal control device of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to prevent operation failure of a stop lamp switch and to normally operate starting and brakes. CONSTITUTION: A brake signal control device of a vehicle comprises a control unit(10), a wake-up unit(20), a master cylinder(40), a pressure sensor(32), a wheel speed sensor(50), a Yaw and G sensor(60), a lamp ignition relay, a stop lamp(90), and a start button(100). The control unit controls an ESC system(30). The wake-up unit selectively operates the ESC system when the starting of the vehicle turns off. The master cylinder converts operation of a brake pedal(70) controlled by a driver into fluid pressure. The pressure sensor receives information on the pressure from the master cylinder. The wheel speed sensor detects speed of each wheel and transmits the speed to the ESC system. The Yaw and G sensor detects rotation speed of the vehicle and transmits the rotation speed to the ESC system. The lamp ignition relay receives a signal from the ESC system in order to be operated. The stop lamp is connected to the lamp ignition relay and is selectively turned off. The start button is connected to the lamp ignition relay and is operated only when a brake operates.
