<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus capable of positioning a booklet without causing displacement of ends, positioning the booklet by pressing with an appropriate pressing amount, and preventing cutting miss of the booklet. <P>SOLUTION: In the sheet processing apparatus 5, a stopper 109 is provided with a first detecting means 113 for detecting the completion of alignment of the booklet P by abutment of a distal end part of the booklet P on the stopper 109, as a rear end part of the booklet P is pressed by a jogger 155, and the sheet processing apparatus 5 is provided with a control means 202 performing control to intermit the cutting processing of the booklet P by a cutting means 65, until the first detecting means 113 detects the completion of the alignment of the booklet P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
