<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition excellent in fuel efficiency, shear stability, and component durability. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition is prepared by blending: a base oil 1 with a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of ≥1.5 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s and ≤3.5 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s; a base oil 2 with a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of >3.5 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s and ≤100 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s; polymethacrylate with mass average molecular weight of ≥1×10<SP POS="POST">4</SP>and ≤4×10<SP POS="POST">4</SP>; and a sulfur compound. The lubricating oil composition has a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of ≥5 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s and ≤6 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s and a viscosity index of ≥200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
