<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately charging, into a lower casing member of a water purifying cartridge, the predetermined amount of powder for water treatment such as granular active carbon without scattering the powder for water treatment, and to provide a charging device to be used when charging the powder for water treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing the water purifying cartridge is characterized in that in a charging process for charging the powder for water treatment, predetermined amount of powder for water treatment is charged in a charging nozzle, a position of a supply surface of the charging nozzle is arranged below an open edge surface of a charging area of the lower casing member, the powder for water treatment is made to drop from the charging nozzle into the charging area, and after drop of the powder for water treatment stops and before all of the powder for water treatment remaining in the charging nozzle drop from the charging nozzle, any one of the lower casing member and the charging nozzle is made to ascend or descend in a vertical direction so that the supply surface of the charging nozzle is not located above the open edge surface of the charging area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
