<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for an assay which is easily handled and can cope with a small amount of a test sample, and to provide an assay method which is easy to operate, can achieve high sensitive detection in a short period of time and can be performed even with a small amount of a test sample. <P>SOLUTION: The plate for an assay has a well whose bottom surface is formed by a fiber film.
