<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system, for sensing and instructing the rotation of a probe. <P>SOLUTION: A certain method includes providing an elongated probe having a longitudinal axis and a distal end part, and allowing the rotation of the distal end part around the longitudinal axis in first and second directions opposite to each other. While an operator operates the probe within the body of a patient, the rotation applied to the distal end part is automatically sensed. Though an alert is issued to the operator when sensing that the rotation is in the second direction, the alert is not issued when the sensed rotation is in the first direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
