<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering sensible heat from scorching cokes with high energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The method of recovering sensible heat from scorching cokes includes: a heat exchange step of exchanging the sensible heat of the scorching cokes using inert gas; and a decomposition step of decomposing glycerin using the inert gas heated at the heat exchange step and a catalyst to generate carbon monoxide and hydrogen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
