<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bleeding noise effectively in an analog signal transmission system including a compounder. <P>SOLUTION: The analog signal transmission system includes an analog signal compressor on a transmission side, and an expander for expanding the analog signal compressed by the compressor on a reception side. The compressor is a variable compressor 103 for performing variable compression exponentially when the amplitude of an input signal is large, so that the input signal is highly compressed depending on the amplitude thereof.
